Series Overview
Sureiya: Legends of Emperion is a one-hour serialized science fiction drama set in a universe shaped by Emperion, an unexplained cosmic phenomenon that leaves behind unstable artifacts known as Fragments. These Fragments power cities, fuel black-market economies, and give governments access to dangerous technology — but when destabilized, they can distort perception, weaponize fear, and turn ordinary people against one another.
At the center is Sureiya Hayes, the sole survivor of Solphyros, a destroyed matriarchal civilization. After surviving direct exposure to Emperion, she was absorbed into Arlencia and transformed into a high-level operative, until another catastrophic Fragment incident made her a fugitive.
The Series Engine
Season One begins in Grovain, a lawless Fragment trade zone where fugitives, smugglers, researchers, and political operatives collide. Each episode centers on a new Fragment-related threat while Sureiya and Veronica uncover the conspiracy surrounding Solphyros, Arlencia, and Emperion.

Shervonne Brown is an actor, writer, and creator developing original science fiction and fantasy stories centered on women, emotional power, survival, identity, memory, and mythic transformation.
She is the creator of The Sureiya Hayes Universe and Sureiya: Legends of Emperion.
PROOF OF CONCEPT
Sureiya: The Eidolon Plane serves as the proof-of-concept short film for Sureiya: Legends of Emperion.
When Veronica is left suspended between life and death, Sureiya enters the mysterious Eidolon Plane, a liminal realm where memory, truth, and emotional suppression are weaponized against her. What begins as a rescue becomes a confrontation with everything she has refused to face, including the terrifying depth of what Veronica truly means to her.

The Story
After surviving the destruction of her world, Sureiya Hayes becomes tied to Emperion, an unknowable cosmic force connected to fragments capable of destabilizing perception, emotion, and political power across civilizations.
Forced into hiding after a catastrophic government incident leaves mass casualties behind, Sureiya disappears into Grovain, a lawless fragment trade zone where black markets, political conspiracies, and underground survival networks collide.
When Veronica Ryn, a feared operative sent to eliminate her, enters the picture, the story shifts from pursuit to obsession. What begins as a hunt evolves into a dangerous emotional and psychological collision neither woman fully understands or can resist.
At the heart of the universe is a dangerous sapphic connection where intimacy, vulnerability, and emotional attachment become forces capable of destabilizing entire worlds.
